5.1 How do I select the right aggregation algorithm?

You could choose the aggregation way among the 4 different aggregation algorithms: 

• FedAvg (default)
• FedAvgM
• FedAdaGrad
• FedAdam
• FedXGBoost

While creating a FL plan, under the "Aggregator" field, select "Edit" icon to Edit Aggregator.

The Edit Aggregator dialog will pop up to help you go through the selection progress.

Click the drop-down menu to select the preferred aggregation algorithm:

Continue to step 2 to choose the relative parameters for the selected aggregator algorithm.

• FedAvg (default)
• FedAvgM
• FedAdaGrad
• FedAdam
• FedXGBoost

Once you finish the setting for the parameters, you could preview the whole setting at step 3.
